People often leave their jobs because they don’t feel valued or fulfilled, they’re not growing, or perhaps they don’t feel in-step or trusted by their boss. Guidance on how to effectively lead a team is not taught, it’s learned and modeled. Our consistent coaching / mentoring sessions have proven to help those struggling to navigate these waters of managing and directing more authentically and effectively. Most of us would be surprised to learn that we have biases that affect how we recruit, hire, promote, interact, and engage with people within the company and the world. But biases exist and they impact the future and lives of many people. Diversity & Inclusion and Sexual Harassment is more than a trend or an ad campaign. Everyone must do better. We can offer guidance, coaching, and support, as well as suggest partnerships with insightful experts and facilitators around these important and must-have initiatives.

The pendulum swings from left to right several times in a span of one’s career. It’s a talent market. It’s a recruiting market. We take the approach that it’s more than a job description and title. It’s more than endless snacks and sodas you offer. It’s about the connection to the place, the people you’ll work with, the culture, work-life balance, what the company stands for, and how people are supported. We work with your teams to help craft the recruiting experience from the job posting and description, to the interviewing process itself. It’s paramount to make all candidates feel heard, seen, and respected even if they’re ultimately not offered the position.

Resources (HR)

Staying connected to your people’s goals, wishes, and wonders is important in keeping them engaged and happy (and ultimately stay). We look at all aspects of how to make that happen. We will work with your Leadership, Directors and Managers to tailor the right mix of oversight and boundary-setting with empathy and support for your people. A healthy company culture is not a given or the sole responsibility of HR.
